Far from the Madding Crowd

Some couples just want to get away from it all and have total relaxation avoiding the crowds and bustle of the busier resorts and cities. For starters how about the Maldives, a smaller Caribbean island, a secluded Mediterranean hotel/villa or go the whole hog and disappear to a spa retreat in the Bhutanese Himalayas!

Activity and Beach

One of the most popular choices is to go for a mix of holiday types with an active week followed by chill-out time at a beach resort. This works particularly well when you combine a safari week, in say Tanzania or Kenya, with an idyllic beach retreat in Zanzibar. Sri Lanka offers both options, or you can link with the Maldives for the second part, and there are many other Asian options – India, Thailand, Borneo, Vietnam to name a few.

Party on

If planning your wedding day puts you in the mood to party on for your honeymoon you will have no shortage of choices. The Caribbean has plenty of options as do Italy, Spain, Miami, Mexico and Dubai. Superb hotels, great restaurants and bars and night-life aplenty.

Thank you for helping us plan our honeymoon to Japan. It was simply stunning. Hakone is the most beautiful place. We were lucky to see Mt Fuji. Ginyu Ryokan was absolutely amazing, very luxurious and special. The onsen on the balcony was a nice treat

Banyan Tree was awesome! To the standard that we hoped and the views from the top were just stunning...a really nice way to kick off the honeymoon. Sarojin too was awesome! Loved the room, the setting and style of the place, the service.

We cannot thank you enough for everything you put together for us - it was absolutely magical! Overall the holiday was fantastic. Doing the safari first and then beach really felt like the right decision, so if other couples aren't sure which way round to do it, I'd definitely recommend that. All of the accommodation was brilliant - Mara Engai Safari Lodge was beautiful... The views over the Masai Mara were unbelievable, their website really doesn't do it justice. The staff were so attentive and friendly - though I'd say that across the board for the whole holiday. Sea Cliff in Zanzibar was absolutely the idea of sun and paradise ha! Couldn't fault it at all. We were amazed at how smoothly everything went. Every time we were due to be somewhere, a representative or driver was always already there waiting for us. We really are so happy with how it went and again, can't thank you enough.
